The run you should not have survived
This round, September 2026
A boss at a sliver of health, a fall you walked away from, a fight that turned on one parry. Any game, any platform.
The form opens shortly
The brief is set and the entry form is being finished. It lands on this page the moment it is ready, and the channel will say so too.
How it works
- 01
Upload the clip somewhere first
YouTube, Twitch, Medal, Streamable, anywhere with a public link. We take a link rather than a file, so there is nothing to upload and your clip stays hosted where you put it.
- 02
Send us the link
The form asks for the link, the game, and the channel you want credited. It takes about a minute.
- 03
We pick from the month's entries
At the end of the month we cut the ones that made us stop scrolling, and they go out on the channels with your channel named on screen and linked in the description.
What you get
Selected clips are cut into a Short and posted on the Ghosts of Reykjavik channels, with your channel named on screen and linked in the description.
Clips we cut
This fills up after the first round. Every clip we pick appears here with the creator named and linked, which is exactly what they get on screen.
What you are agreeing to
Last updated 7 September 2026
- What happens to the clip you send
- If we select it, we edit it into a video and post it on the Ghosts of Reykjavik channels. That is YouTube first, and it may also go on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and X, and we may show it on this site. Your channel is named on screen and linked in the description, and that credit stays with the video for as long as it is up. How it is edited is up to us: we cut, trim, reorder, speed it up or slow it down, add captions, effects and music, and combine it with other footage, whatever makes the best video.
- What you are agreeing to
- By sending a clip you confirm the recording is your own and that you are free to give it to us. You are giving it to us to use: to edit it, publish it, and keep it published on our channels, in any form, for as long as we want. In return we credit you, by naming your channel in the description and on the clip itself. Other royalties are not included in this.
- Changing your mind
- You are welcome to change your mind. Tell us before we have used your clip and we will delete your entry, no reason needed. Once a clip has been edited and published we are unable to remove it, because the edit is finished, the video is live on the channels, and it may already be part of a piece built around several clips. So the one thing worth being sure about is that you are happy for us to use it before you send it.
- Most clips will not be used, and that is not a judgement
- We receive far more than we can cut, so the great majority of entries are never published. A clip going unused says nothing about it, and we are grateful for every one that comes in.
- Charges
- Sending a clip is free. There is no entry fee and nothing to pay at any point.
- Who can enter
- Anyone aged 16 or over, anywhere. Under 16, ask a parent or guardian to enter on your behalf.
- What we do with your details
- We keep the link to your clip, the game and your channel name, so we can find the clip again and credit you. Ask us and we will delete your channel name and the link from our records. Where a clip has already been published, the credit on that video stays as it is, since a video that is out cannot be unpublished and the credit is there for you.
- What we will not publish
- Anything that is not your own recording, anything showing another person who has not agreed to it, and anything hateful. We can decline any entry without giving a reason.
The entry form is hosted by Tally, a company in Belgium, and what you type into it is stored in Europe. The privacy page names them, says what is kept and for how long, and explains how to have an entry deleted.
