Valor Mortis is available NOW

Taken from the developer's own announcement, quoted rather than summarised. The full post is linked at the foot of this page.

Valor Mortis is available on Steam right now.

You swore an oath to serve his cause, you fought until your last breath, but now you have a second chance. The hour has finally come to fight for your Emperor!

Many people told us that “a Soulslike game wouldn’t work in first-person”. Despite the detractors, we wanted to break new ground. We are proud of what we’ve made and we think you’ll appreciate the lengths we’ve gone to prove this wild concept.

One year ago, we held an open Steam playtest and we shared a Demo this past June. Thanks to your feedback, we have improved the game dramatically in the past few months. It’s more polished, better optimized and has a smoother balance curve, not to mention way more bosses, environments and quests that make up our 20-hour campaign.

So pick up your sword, load your bayonet, and jump into Valor Mortis today!

From our dev team

We wanted to say a heartfelt thank you from all of us at One More Level. Valor Mortis is our studio’s biggest game and we have poured our hearts and souls into it over the past 3 years.

It’s been a long journey since Ghostrunner, but we feel very humbled that you want to play the games we are making.

Thank you

Deluxe Edition

We will be adding a Major Story DLC next year. It will explore a new adventure in the world of Valor Mortis while maintaining the darkness, characters and intrigue from our original campaign. The Deluxe Edition also includes several cosmetic weapon skin packs; the first of which, you can unlock right now.

If you’re enjoying the game or appreciate our price point, buying the Deluxe Edition now is the best way to support our development team.

Bundles

We have bundles with outstanding games so you’ll get a 10% discount when buying both together. If you already own any of these games, you can complete the bundle with the same 10% discount!

• Dishonored
• No Rest for the Wicked
• Mouse: P.I. for Hire
• Ghostrunner and Ghostrunner 2

Looking for Friends or Looking for Help

You can join our Discord server to theorize the best builds, research the game’s lore and uncover the secrets for a 100% run. Ghostrunner was a great game for speedrunning and we think Valor Mortis will be too. Since it’s so much bigger, we think there will be many different ways to enjoy the game with our community on Discord.

If you encounter an issue while playing, please let us know in the Steam Bugs and Issues section of the forums! You can also reach us at support.lyricalgames.co

Like a firing squad in the Grande Armée, our whole development team is at the ready to squash bugs and resolve issues as quickly as we can.
