End of Abyss collectibles: all 8 data shards for the true ending, by floor
The eight data shards decide which ending you get and pay the Defragmented trophy, and each one is given with its floor rather than only its sector. Plus all eight vaults, all six health boosters and all six shuttles, with the sector pairs that make a run finish on seven out of eight.

The eight data shards are the only collectible in this game that changes the ending. A collectible that fills a counter can wait. A run that misses one shard finishes the game and never sees what it was actually about, and the set pays the Defragmented trophy on the way.
Everything below is given with its floor, because the station stacks vertically and the map reads badly. Knowing a shard is in Lower Levels gets you to a sector. Knowing it is on B4 gets you to the shard.
All 8 data shards, with the floor
| Sector | Floor |
|---|---|
| Containment Sector | F3 |
| Factory West | F4 |
| Habitation Sector | F1 |
| Lower Levels | F1 |
| Reactor | B1 |
| Ventilation Tunnels | F3 |
| Waterworks | B3 |
| Lower Levels | B4 |
Lower Levels holds two of them, four floors apart. That is the single most common way a run ends on seven out of eight: you clear Lower Levels, tick the sector off and never go back down.
Two more share a floor with each other. Containment and Ventilation are both F3, so if you are already up there you can take both in one pass.
And the Waterworks shard shares B3 with a hidden weapon module, so one trip down covers two things.
All 8 vaults, and the factory that eats twenty minutes
In the order our sweep takes them: Reactor, Communications Centre, Habitation Sector, Waterworks, Factory East, Infirmary, Lower Levels, Containment Sector.
Factory East, not Factory West. The station has both and they are separate sectors. The vault is in the East one, while the health boosters and the data shards are in Factory West. That one letter is how a run ends up searching the wrong factory.
The Containment Sector vault takes nearly three minutes on its own, longer than the first four put together. It is a green hazard zone with contamination on the floor, so the route matters there in a way it does not anywhere else on this list. If you are only missing one vault, it is probably that one.
All 6 health boosters, and the pair that hides in plain sight
Ventilation Tunnels, Containment Sector, Factory West, Habitation Sector twice, and the Infirmary.
Habitation has two and the first is in the safe room, lying on the floor. A safe room is somewhere you pass through to stop being shot at, so it is the last place anyone sweeps for a pickup, and once you have taken the second one the sector looks finished.
They hide in two kinds of place, and that is worth more than any single location. Three of the six are on or near a dead body, in Ventilation and in Containment. The rest are in things: in a box in Factory West, on the floor in the Habitation safe room, and on the examination table in the Infirmary.
So search the corpses and search the furniture. This game puts permanent maximum health on bodies you would otherwise walk straight past, and one extra segment changes which boss attacks are survivable. Early is worth far more than late.
All 6 shuttles, which decide how painful the two big sweeps are
Habitation Sector, Reactor, Waterworks, Containment Sector, Factory West, Outer Sector.
Shuttle one unlocks after the first boss. Until the Husk Cluster is dead there is no fast travel in this game at all. Then the first shuttle takes you to the second: ride it out of Habitation and you arrive at the Factory, where the next one is, because the network feeds itself.
Do this before either big sweep. The eight vaults and the eight data shards both cross sectors repeatedly, and the full network turns both from a march into a list.
The order that wastes the least time
- Beat the Husk Cluster and unlock the shuttle network.
- Collect all six shuttles, about four minutes of footage end to end.
- Sweep the health boosters, because permanent health is worth more the earlier you hold it.
- Then the eight vaults and the eight data shards together, since both cross the same sectors and three shards share floors with other pickups.
Every sweep above is filmed uncut with timestamps on each pickup, so if you are missing one you can jump to it rather than watching the whole route.
