CONTROL Resonant: every puzzle, with the fact that unlocks each one
Every puzzle in CONTROL Resonant and the one thing each hides: the Laundry orbs that gate the machine, the Thirst Station shape in Urban Survival, the taxi that traps you in its own world, the Museum and Cafe sequences, and the four Fault quests.

Most of the puzzles in CONTROL Resonant are not hard once you know the single fact each one is hiding. Without that fact they are the sort of thing that eats an evening, because several have no marker, no quest entry and nothing telling you they exist.
Here is every one we have filmed, with the fact.
The unmarked ones
| Puzzle | Zone | The fact |
|---|---|---|
| Secret Laundry | Central Zone | Clear three orbs FIRST. The machine does nothing while any are outstanding, which is why it reads as broken |
| The Last Taxi | Central Zone | Interacting traps you in its world. Getting out is the puzzle, and nothing warns you before you touch it |
| Cafe | Downtown | A step sequence rather than a code. Nothing to write down |
| Museum | Evacuation Zone | A sequence rather than a code. Watch once, do once |
The Laundry is the one people give up on, because the puzzle and its gate look like the same object. Orbs first, always.
The taxi is worth reading before you touch it. A taxi in a city reads as transport, so the natural move is to interact and find out, and by then you are already inside with no obvious exit.
Urban Survival, three puzzles and a quest that does not exist yet
The quest has to be unlocked before it appears at all. Go to the right area of the Evacuation Zone and collect the notes. Until you have them there is no quest, which is why most players never see it.
| Stage | What it is |
|---|---|
| Puzzle one | Place boxes. The boxes keep changing shape while you work, and only the Thirst Station shape fits. Anything else you line up is wasted no matter how right it looks |
| Puzzle two | Bring two items to the Survivalist |
| Puzzle three | Car keys, and finding the Survivalist's brother |
| The step people skip | Go back and report. That is what actually closes the quest |
That one fact about puzzle one turns it from maddening into a minute of work.
The Fault quests
Four of them, each a route with puzzles along it rather than a single mechanism.
| Quest | Note |
|---|---|
| The Subway Fault | |
| The Incursion Fault | About nine minutes, including a parking garage you have to escape |
| The Underpass Fault | Starts the moment you reach the Underpass fast travel point |
| Recursions and Iterations | About twenty minutes, the longest on the channel. Finding the team is nine of them on its own, then Grist, then three power charges. Restoring power wants all three |
| Rebuild |
Knowing Recursions and Iterations is four jobs in a row stops you assuming you have gone wrong. The nine minutes spent finding the team is the honest shape of the quest rather than a mistake you are making.
The rest
| Puzzle | Note |
|---|---|
| The House in Distress, power puzzle | |
| The House in Distress, the ritual | Separate from the power puzzle above |
| Enemy of My Enemy | Reach the CFD switch, then destroy four orbs. Three and moving on leaves the quest where it was |
| Evacuation Procedure | The entrance stays shut until three orbs are in. The door reads as the objective, so people stand at it looking for a switch |
Before you start any of them
Clear the zone map first. Three antennas per district, and every puzzle above is easier to reach with the fog off. That guide is on the game's page.
Each puzzle here is filmed at the pace you would do it, because a sequence is the one thing a written list cannot hand over honestly. The fact is above, the sequence is in the video.
