Beast of Reincarnation: every collectible, counted by zone

The full collectible count for every zone in Beast of Reincarnation, taken from the game's own on-screen counters rather than from a wiki. 37 campsites, 28 supply boxes, 31 valuables and the rest, with the route each one belongs to.

Beast of Reincarnation counts your collectibles on screen while you pick them up. Every marker reads like All Supply Box Location Matsukawa Zone - 04/13, and the second half of that fraction is the game telling you how many exist in the zone you are standing in. That is where every number on this page comes from. Nothing here is estimated.

The totals below are what the game itself reports across the zones we have covered on camera. Where a zone is missing from a row, we have no footage of it yet and we would rather leave a gap than print a guess.

The short version

Collectible Total across covered zones
Campsite 37
Valuable 31
Supply Box 28
Lore Painting 9
Weapon 8
Golem 7
Shrine 5
Recipe & Manual 3

Campsites, 37 total

Campsites are the rest points. Sitting at one restores you, resets the enemies around it and opens it as a fast travel target, so clearing the campsites in a zone before you chase anything else makes every other route in that zone shorter. This is the collectible to prioritise on a first pass.

Zone Campsites
Giant Tree Zone 15
Crater Zone 13
Starfall Tower 5
Inukami River Zone 3
The Capital 1

The Capital has exactly one, which catches people out. If you are sweeping The Capital looking for a second campsite, stop looking.

Supply Boxes, 28 total

Zone Supply Boxes
Giant Tree Zone 13
Crater Zone 8
Starfall Tower 4
Inukami River Zone 3

Giant Tree Zone holds nearly half of every supply box we have counted. Budget the time for it.

Valuables, 31 total

Zone Valuables
Giant Tree Zone 15
Crater Zone 10
Starfall Tower 6

Weapons, 8 total

Zone Weapons
Crater Zone 4
Giant Tree Zone 2
Inukami River Zone 1
The Capital 1

Weapons are the thinnest category in the game and the one most worth detouring for, since eight pickups across four zones means every single one changes what you can do in a fight.

Shrines, 5 total

Zone Shrines
Giant Tree Zone 4
Crater Zone 1

Golems, 7 total

Zone Golems
Crater Zone 5
Inukami River Zone 2

Recipes and Manuals, 3 total

Zone Recipes & Manuals
Giant Tree Zone 2
Crater Zone 1

Lore Paintings, 9 total

The nine lore paintings sit outside the zone structure, so treat them as a separate sweep rather than folding them into a zone route.

How to use this on a completion run

Work zone by zone in this order and you will backtrack the least:

  1. Campsites first. Fast travel points make everything after them cheaper.
  2. Supply boxes and valuables second, since they share the same walking route through a zone.
  3. Weapons, shrines and golems third. These are few enough to clean up as targeted detours once the map is open.
  4. Lore paintings last, as their own pass.

Every zone route above has a video guide with one chapter per pickup, and the chapter starts on the map shot rather than on the pickup, so you can scrub straight to the location you are missing.
